Audio and playback settings

Audio settings control volume behavior, playback preferences, and how sessions continue in the background.

Steps

  1. 1Open Settings and choose Audio or Playback.
  2. 2Adjust background playback, volume, and session preferences.
  3. 3Test with a short session after changing settings.
  4. 4Check device sound mode if app settings look correct but audio is silent.

Helpful notes

  • Bluetooth devices can keep old audio routes active. Disconnect and reconnect if sound goes to the wrong place.
  • Some battery saver modes can stop background audio.
